Happy Thanksgiving!

This is one of my favorite images I took during my week in New Hampshire. This mountain is called Mt Major, located in Alton, NH. It’s one of my favorite mountains to hike growing up. There’s a beautiful, almost 360 degree view of Lake Winnipesaukee.

I climbed up during sunset and stayed until dark. This is what it looks like combining images over the course of an hour. It was a blast, until the wind picked up and the temperature dropped. I called it a night after the wind threatened to knock my camera over 😂

Please do not hike any trial at night, alone, unless you know the trail and the area. I grew up climbing this mountain so I knew the area, the trail and the dangers but I did get lost 3 times. I don’t suggest anyone doing this unless you’re experienced. There are great lookout points all over New Hampshire where you can drive up to at night! So please stay safe and as always, enjoy nature and the outdoors!

As a photographer, I try and challenge myself to see the beauty in the places I go. I love the mountains and think all mountains are beautiful but being stuck in Florida for awhile makes me think outside the box. The best way to do that is to wake up early and catch the sunrise or going out for the sunsets. Find something that could be interesting and just shoot! Not all my photos are amazing. Some are very boring and those are the ones I don’t post 😂

I love the reflection off the water in this photo! This is the look out tower that’s down the street from the marina. A nice little tourist destination. I would love to go up to the top and see the view, but it’s currently closed due to covid 😢 Check out some more of my photography over on my Instagram!
