When I’m not behind my camera (or buried in Photoshop), you’ll usually find me hanging out with my kids, cooking or baking, tackling a DIY project, or enjoying the outdoors. I also run a wedding venue, because apparently I don’t know how to sit still.

My love for photography started way back in elementary school when I picked up a camera and never really put it down. That passion followed me to college, where I earned degrees in Graphic Design and Photography and discovered my love for visual storytelling.

Today, I’m a portrait photographer specializing in families, seniors, newborns, maternity, and all those wonderfully messy milestones in between. I also photograph schools and sports, giving me even more opportunities to serve the amazing communities around Gallatin, Cameron, St. Joseph, and Kansas City.

After nearly 20 years behind the camera, I’m still just as excited to create images that feel genuine, beautiful, and completely you.

Recently I've been really pushing out of my comfort zone. Making myself work light that's not safe. Some times a nail it, sometimes it flops (thankfully it's rare).
On this night I feel like I nailed it 🥰

No every session isn't the same, because every client isn't the same. To be fair, sometimes I miss judge the sun and weather but I do have the skills and knowledge to make a good photo no matter the situation.
