A little reminder that family photos don’t always go according to plan 😂

About 5 minutes into this session, Jett decided the ocean looked way more fun than taking pictures and ran straight in, completely soaking himself.

But that’s the thing about family sessions with little ones. Sometimes you just have to roll with it, embrace the chaos, and let them have fun.

And honestly, those usually end up being some of my favorite moments to capture and your favorites to look back on

A little nostalgia is coming ✨🎞️

Lately, I’ve been feeling inspired by the art of film photography. The texture, the tones, and the way it can make a photograph feel like a memory.

With the renewed love for film, I’ve found myself drawn back to those roots and exploring how to bring some of that character into my digital work.

I’ve been making room for a little creativity behind the scenes, experimenting with subtle grain, softer contrast, and nostalgic color. Finding a look that feels like an extension of my work, with a little something different.

My natural, warm, true-to-life style isn’t going anywhere. But there’s room to get creative with your favorites, too.

My maternity leave is slowly coming to an end and as bittersweet as that feels, I’m getting so excited to be back behind the camera!

I’ve loved soaking up this season at home with my little guy, but I’m also really looking forward to all of the families, couples, growing bellies + milestones I get to document this fall.
