One of my favorite things about senior sessions is incorporating what makes each senior uniquely them.

For this beautiful redhead, that meant bringing along a stack of well-loved books and finding the perfect spot among the lavender. Between the endless rows of purple blooms, her favorite stories, and beautiful light, this session felt like stepping into the pages of a novel.

Senior year is about celebrating who you are right now- the passions, hobbies, and little details you'll want to remember long after graduation. And those personal touches? They always make the most meaningful portraits.

Class of 2027, let's create something that tells your story.

Everyone sees the final image.

What they don't see is the extension cord, the random sign, the distracting background element, the random walker in the back, or the mosquito bite that somehow showed up 10 minutes before the session.

Photography doesn't stop when I click the shutter. That's where the second half of the art begins.

Swipe to see the before and after.

While I didn't host minis there this year, I had the absolute best senior session at Red Oak Lavender Farm last night. I've been photographing at this beautiful location for over 10 years, and no matter how many times I visit, I'm always appreciative of its beauty.

While the farm is known for its stunning lavender fields, it offers so much more than lavender. From rows of vibrant dahlias to patches of coneflowers, cosmos, and sunflowers, there are gorgeous backdrops around every corner. It's one of those rare locations that provides incredible variety while still feeling peaceful and unique. Every visit brings something a little different, and it's always a joy to create images there. I can't wait to share more!

This summer, I'm offering a Photography Intensive for High School Students designed for teens who are serious about learning photography and already own a DSLR or mirrorless camera.
This isn't a babysitting-style summer camp. It's a career-focused, hands-on experience for teens who are genuinely interested in photography.
Over 3 days, students will learn:
Camera mastery and exposure control
Natural and studio lighting techniques
Creative lighting using flash, strobes, and color gels
Professional editing workflows and image management
Creating intentional, portfolio-worthy images with confidence and purpose

We'll spend the first two days of the intensive in my Peachtree Corners studio learning the technical and creative side of photography, then put those skills into practice during an exciting field trip on the last day to Ride Lounge where students will have the unique opportunity to photograph what they've learned in a high-impact location.

This is a small-group experience with limited spots available so every student gets hands-on instruction and individual attention.
July 20-22, 2026
1:00 PM - 4:00 PM

***DSLR or Mirrorless Camera Required
Whether your teen dreams of photographing sports, weddings, brands, fashion, wildlife, or more- this workshop will give them the foundation to grow their skills and confidence behind the camera.

All my little newborns are turning ONE and I feel like a mother hen fussing over how much they've grown!

Sweet babies. Please excuse me while I go refill my tissue box.

From watching his mama glow through maternity, to snuggling him as a newborn, and now chasing him around for his first birthday session (no really, you should see him scoot after a balloon)… getting to photograph this sweet boy’s first year has been such an honor.

And yes, his dad may be one of our family’s all time favorite professional hockey players, but honestly? This little guy (and brother) continue to steal the spotlight. Between the serious expressions, the speedy balloon chases, and the random bursts of giggles, he kept us entertained the entire session. And his mama? Still just as sweet, kind, and beautiful as ever.

Watching families grow like this is one of my favorite parts of what I do. One minute we’re planning maternity photos, and the next I’m wondering how a whole year flew by so fast. Happy first birthday to this adorable little dude.

Brotherly love is equal parts best friend, built-in bodyguard, wrestling match referee, and professional button pusher.

Right now, one is teaching the other how to be wild, fearless, and just a little mischievous. The other thinks his big brother hangs the moon. And somewhere between the chaos, snack stealing, and nonstop movement… a lifelong bond is growing.

When your brother isn't interested in his smash cake, you show him how it's done!

That second photo? Him checking to see if anyone is looking when he takes that second bite, hehe!

How appropriate for "World Baking Day" than a little cake?
