For those still wondering, Judy (Steph & Jorene's mom) had surgery on the 20th. As all recoveries do, she's had her ups & downs. She (and all of us here) appreciate your continued concern, prayers, calls, texts and cards!
P.S. I'm willing to bet if you gave her a few words of encouragement here, they'd get passed on to her.

Thirty-six years ago, I picked up my camera at the Box Butte County Fair, never imagining the incredible journey it would become. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of watching generations of young people grow—not just in age, but in confidence, character, kindness, and leadership.

Behind every photograph is a story: early mornings in the barns, proud smiles after months of hard work, hugs shared with family, ribbons earned, friendships formed, and memories that last a lifetime. It has been an honor to preserve these moments, knowing they represent so much more than a picture—they represent a tradition, a community, and the heart of 4-H.

Thank you to the Box Butte County 4-H program, the leaders, volunteers, parents, and especially the incredible 4-H members, for allowing me to be part of your fair family for the past 36 years. Your trust has meant more to me than words can express.

Thank you for letting me capture the moments that become tomorrow’s treasured memories. It truly is one of the greatest honors of my life.
