One of my favorite parts of this job is getting to photograph friends season after season. Watching their kids grow, personalities come out, & knowing exactly what makes them smile & laugh.

This is how I end every session now.
Hands linked. Light fading. The world quieting as the sun meets the horizon. A moment without direction, just presence. It feels like the end of that day’s story.

Returning to a beach that’s been on my backburner for at least 5 years. The stairs are intimidating for younger families but the views are totally worth it. The waves were breathtaking and, as the last pic shows, fun for a few unexpected splashes!
