It Sara Rhianne Photography's 2 year biz anniversary! 🥳

I seriously wouldnt be here without each and everyone of you! Thanks for following along, trusting me to capture your weddings and all the other small wonderful moments of life.

I was scrolling back through galleries from the past two years and its crazy to me how much as happened.

The people who resonded to my first model call and trusted me as I figured out posing. The first person who trusted me to capture her wedding (love you ). Shooting my cousins wedding and having the aha moment of 'wow I love this'. Attending my first workshop, figuring out my style more, traveling for weddings. One couple that messaged me the day after they got engaged wanting to book me. Another willing to fly me out to their big day. Hosting my first styled shoot. Experiencing my busiest season yet. Being able to go full time.

I truly do not say these things to brag (other than on how amazing my couples are). Im just standing over here in awe of what Gods done in my business.

Sara 1 year ago wouldn't have imagined it being her full time job

Yall are crazy amazing, God is good and I cant wait to see what happens in this next year

This week is THE week!

And yes, of course I'm using another photo from Camden & Jasons sneak peek 🥰

We are down to the last minute things like putting the wedding binder together, wearing my shoes around the house to break them in, slightly stressing that Total Wine is out of the wine we picked for the wedding 😅, checking in with all our vendors & labeling what's in all the boxes for easy set up and clean up.

To my couples- I'll be answering emails through Wednesday and then I'll be out of office until October 3! So of you have any questions, please send them my way ASAP so that I can get back to you 🤍

Camden & Jason's wedding day was one to remember

I knew from their engagement session that they're wedding was going to be special, just not 5 types of weather in 1 day kinda special.

The crazy weather was such a sweet representation of their relationship so far, and they said themselves that it just goes to prove they can weather any storm that comes their way.

I cannot wait to relive their day over and over as I edit 💕

WE BOUGHT A HOUSE 🥳

It has been so hard keeping it a secret from yall- especially when its been what I've been spending most of my time on other than weddings this past month.

The whole process has been Jesus-filled in ways I could even imagine. From finding our house on the first day we started looking 'for real' (there were lots and lots of zillow searches beforehand) to being only one of two to put an offer in to getting accepted 2 days later and the keys in our hand 3 weeks later. Not to even mention how helpful all our people have been in the process ( is amazing) especially as a first time home buyers. I could go on and on about how things happened just-so in ways only God can do.

We cannot wait to get started on a few projects this summer before moving in after getting married in September. Of course I'll be sharing all my DIYs.

This house is such a blessing to us already, and we cannot wait to use it to bless others.

Tips for your wedding day that you might not have thought of:

-if you have more than 5 buttons on your wedding dress, make sure you get a crochet hook! You can speed the process of buttoning you up by 5x if you use one of these to help grab the little loops

-make sure to remind your bridal party to stay looking at you two and that they smile during your ceremony. They are going to be in most of your ceremony photos and you want them to be looking happy. I cannot tell you how many ceremony photos I've taken where several of the BP are staring off into the distance with a blank look on their face

-THE BRIDE SHOULD NOT BE THE LAST PERSON TO GET THEIR HAIR & MAKEUP DONE. This is the #1 thing that will throw off your timeline. More often than not, hair & make up takes much longer than you are told it will. You as the bride should not be the one who is rushing to get done. If its a bridesmaid or mother-in-law who is last, that means that we can move ahead to zip-up photos or other bridal party photos while they are getting finished up. THIS ALSO MEANS TOUCH UPS.

-if you are not wearing a long lasting lipstick, give it to your photography, the groom or a bridesmaid with pockets so you can easily reapply throughout the day

Joy-filled, giggly, silly. Couples who just love being with their person. The quite confidence in their love that is obvious in the way they carry themselves and interact with each other.

It makes my heart full that my couples completely trust me to capture the love that they share 💕

Nicole & Matt got married on one of the craziest days in March- it was snowy, windy, and cold when it was 60 degrees the day before. And in spite of it all there was so much joy. And a whole lot of trust for 5 minutes of photos outside (I'd say they were well worth it)
