The one that got away, but we are extremely proud to share our Navy Brat with the United States Army. Congratulations to our youngest son for graduating Summa Cum Laude (3.8 or higher the entire time at college) from Hampton University today with the class of 2026.

Earlier this week I completed my fourth Military Career Transition headshot booth experience at the annual Sea, Air, Space Conference. A special shout out to my two fabulous assistants, Robin and Vanessa, they are one of the reasons over 30 transitioning veterans and military spouses, received complimentary headshots the day of the event. Special thanks to the for the opportunity to serve every year!

Are you an obsessive note taker? When I was in the military I took notes all the time, mostly just to stay awake during boring meetings. Now my superpower is serving me well, when I have to match client work over long periods of time.

I’m super excited to watch and document the installation of Alexandria’s newest public art display on the waterfront. This year’s artist, Alicia Eggert has brought us “Now or Never.” Eggert’s artwork features two monumental sculptures that echo the visual language of signs and billboards.
They stand face to face across a narrow passageway, one declaring NOW and the other replying NEVER.
