What's an NFT? I get this question a lot. I could say something mysterious like "an NFT (or non-fungible token) is a marker of uniqueness of a digital asset minted on the blockchain and available for purchase with cryptocurrencies." But then 9 out of 10 people would look at me sideways. In the context of artists, think of it like a digital certificate of authenticity which will always be attributed to the artist because it is permanently recorded in an unalterable global ledger.
