She's free-spirited, fun-loving, creative, gorgeous, and has a great sense of humor. She envisioned starting her senior portraits at Green Spring Gardens, where I have photographed her family on and off for many years---and ending the session at her home. I loved every minute of it, and appreciate that she chose meaningful spots! We reminisced about way back when she and my daughter played in the neighborhood sandbox as toddlers--and talked about her excitement and dreams as she makes a big transition out west! All the best to you, sweet A!! Can't wait to see what's next for you!

Between the ideal weather, the gorgeous setting, and this fun family--I couldn't have asked for a more enjoyable afternoon! We took our time walking through the park to find just the right spots to pause for photos. I loved hearing about next steps for this high school graduate and his big sister who just graduated from college. An exciting time for the whole family!

My very first subject. She’s the reason I fell in love with capturing the moments, the details, the fleeting memories life is full of. When she was a baby, I wanted to capture every expression and move she made. As she grew older, I wanted to capture her exploring the world around her. Now, I’m content to just be in her company and occasionally bring my camera out to capture milestones and special events. Her initial smiles and laughter…her curiosity while observing a blade of grass…her playfulness while in the sandbox with her very first friend...her excitement before games and school events…and now her confidence and anticipation as she graduates from high school–it’s all been a joy to witness. I hope she knows that each photo taken of her was simply a moment of gratitude….gratitude for being her mom, for being a part of her life, and for watching her evolve into the beautiful human she is today.

Old Town is the spot to be this spring! I can understand why many clients choose this location--it's full of charm, history, color, texture, nature, beauty--everywhere you turn! Each time I go, I find something new I hadn't noticed before. It has a way of elevating one's mood and instantly making people relax. I loved meeting this wonderful family there yesterday! Despite the heat, we had fun taking in the scenery, chatting, and taking photos along the way.

When a former co-worker from many years ago reached out about doing senior photos for her daughter, I was thrilled! I've been looking forward to meeting/getting to know her daughter and also reconnecting with her! I so enjoyed my time with both of them over the weekend--and could not be more excited for this beautiful (inside and out!) young woman to embark on this next chapter of her life. She exudes a calm and quiet confidence. She has a clear vision for and excitement about her future. She's beautiful inside and out, and was an absolute joy to capture.
