Cuteness overload!

Just finished a month of taking school photos and loved every minute! Now it's time to make some tea, light a candle, and finish creating the rest of these adorable galleries!

I saw this little dude for his school photos last week and was lucky enough to see him again this week for family photos! It was a bonus that I met his two dogs he had mentioned while I was taking his school pics.

Spending the mornings capturing these smiling faces is simply the best.

She exudes a sense of calm of and confidence that easily allowed her to get comfortable in front of the camera. She has a gentle spirit and was full of thoughtful questions and commentary throughout our session. An absolute joy to capture! I can't wait to hear what her next steps are!

My favorite part of this session: it started and ended with hugs, high fives, and fist bumps from these sweet girls. I loved capturing them again in the comfort of their own (gorgeous) yard. It was fun to be reunited with mom and dad, too; I've known dad since we were children!!!

The perfect combination of ideal weather, beautiful lighting, and a fun-loving family! This crew was up for packing in a lot of fun in a short amount of time, and I enjoyed every bit of it!

School photo season started last week. Each year, it's wonderful to see familiar faces who I have photographed before as well as new faces who don't yet understand how much fun school photos can really be! The incredible school staff and/or volunteers join me outside where the kiddos can have a quick break to enjoy the outdoors, be playful, chat about Halloween costumes and favorite animals etc., and have their pictures taken. I appreciate the village it takes to make this all happen, and I love having the opportunity to deliver galleries of these sweet kids to their proud parents!

Indeed it is!

Towards the end of our session, the little girl I was capturing spotted this tiny turtle. I paused to snap of photo of him, and she asked if I would put it in their family gallery. You better believe I will!
