One of my favorite moments of my 📸 photography career was waiting for over 7+ hours on a cold September morning to watch the Papal Parade in DC and catch a glimpse of Papa Francesco in action. The day was full of bliss and left me speechless. This shot was my favorite from the collection and I’m sharing it with you all again, on the day of his passing. 🙏🏼

Pope Francis was a remarkable person who saw the Divine in all people. His papacy was a breath of fresh air and symbol of hope 🕊️for the world. He was a mover & a shaker for not only the Catholic Church, but for the world… teaching compassion, love, mercy, justice and inclusion for all (humans, animals and nature). He will be missed universally.

May the power of photography capture his life to the fullest. Rest in peace ✨ Papa Francesco. È grazie per tutto…
