One of the questions I get asked the most is...

"Do you travel?"

The answer will almost always be YES.

There's something so special about seeing a place you've never been before through someone else's story.

Maybe it's a mountain overlook that's always meant something to your family. Maybe it's a quiet lake cabin where you spent every summer growing up. Maybe it's halfway across the country because that's where your hearts feel at home.

Those places deserve to be remembered just as much as the people standing in them.
Travel has always inspired me creatively, and getting to combine that with photography honestly feels like the best job in the world.

So if your wedding is a few hours away... or a few thousand miles away... don't be afraid to ask.

I'll probably already be looking up hiking trails and coffee shops nearby. 🤍

If you've been around here for a while, you probably already know this... western weddings have a special place in my heart. 🤍

Maybe it's because horses have been such a big part of my life. Maybe it's the boots, the hats, the wide open spaces, or the slower pace that feels a little more like home. Whatever it is, these weddings just feel like me.

Abigail and Rob's wedding was exactly that. Honestly... it was a dream day to photograph.

One day, this little baby is going to look back at these photos and see just how loved they were before they were even here. 🥹🤍

That's one of my favorite things about maternity sessions.

They're more than beautiful photos. They're a reminder of this season. The waiting, the excitement, and all the dreams you're already dreaming for your little one.

If you've been around here for a while, you've probably heard me mention Norman... and if not, it's definitely time for an introduction.

This is Norman, my miniature donkey.

He's about 400 pounds of pure sweetness, has a personality that's bigger than he is, and honestly believes everyone who comes over is there to see him.

One of my favorite parts of living out in the country is getting to spend time with all of my animals. After a busy wedding weekend or a long day of editing, there's something so grounding about heading outside, saying hi to Norman, and slowing down for a bit.

Life doesn't always have to be busy to be beautiful. 🫏🤍

Dani and Kevin's day was one of those.

There was so much laughter, so many happy tears, and the sweetest reminders that the best weddings aren't about having every little detail perfectly planned. They're about celebrating with the people you love most.

9 years.
It's kind of wild to even type that.

Almost a decade of wedding days, happy tears, packed dance floors, sunset portraits, first looks, family hugs, and getting a front-row seat to some of the biggest moments in people's lives.

When I first picked up my camera, I never imagined it would lead me here. Thousands of memories, so many incredible couples, and friendships I never expected to make along the way.

I still get excited before every wedding. I still tear up during vows. I still leave every Saturday feeling incredibly grateful that this is what I get to call my job.

To every couple who has trusted me with your story over the last nine years, thank you. You have made this dream bigger than I ever imagined.

Here's to almost a decade and hopefully many more years of celebrating love together. 🤍

Hi! I'm Ashley Ann Photography. 🤍 If you're new here, I thought I'd say a proper hello.

I'm the person you'll probably find laying in the grass to get the shot, hiking up a hill for better light, or celebrating right alongside you after we absolutely nailed your session.

Photography has been part of my life since 2017, but to me, this has always been about so much more than taking pretty pictures.

I genuinely love getting to know people. I want to hear how you met, what you're excited about, where you're getting married, or why your grandparents' farm means so much to your family. Those little pieces of your story are what make your photos feel like you.

By the time your gallery is delivered, my hope is that you don't just have beautiful photos. I hope you have memories from the experience, too.

Some galleries are just extra hard to send because it means the day is officially over. 🥹

Abigail and Rob's wedding was one of those days that felt so full of love from start to finish. Every hug, every laugh, every little glance at each other reminded me why I love photographing weddings so much.

These are the days you'll tell stories about years from now.

The flowers will fade, the cake will be gone, and the music will stop... but these moments get to live on forever.

I wasn't lucky enough to grow up with horses.

But somehow...they've always felt like they were supposed to be part of my story.

When I was 18, I saved every dollar I could, built a fence at my parents' place, and bought my very first horse.

Looking back now, I don't think I realized how much that decision would change my life.

Horses became more than a hobby. They became my escape, my peace, and a huge reason I found myself again.

If you're a fellow horse girl...I already know we're going to get along. ❤️
