I am fully convinced that every engagement session should include ice cream. 🍦🤍

Kora and Bill chose to make their session feel like them, and honestly, that's always my favorite kind of session. No pressure, no complicated plans. Just an evening spent laughing together, sharing ice cream, and soaking in this sweet season before becoming husband and wife.

Some of my favorite photos happen when couples stop worrying about the camera and simply enjoy being together. The stolen glances across the table, the laughter after a melted ice cream drip, the little moments that tell the real story.

These two made it look easy.

There’s something about putting on your wedding dress that makes it all feel real.

Months of planning. The countdown. The excitement. The little details you've been dreaming about for so long.

And then suddenly, you're standing there, buttoning the last button, adjusting the veil, catching a glimpse of yourself in the mirror, and it hits you...

Today is the day.

It's one of my favorite moments to photograph because it's so much more than getting dressed. It's the anticipation. The butterflies. The happy tears. The quiet realization that in just a few hours, you'll be married to the person you love most.

The day moves fast after that, but for a moment, time seems to slow down. And it's in those moments that the magic really begins. 🤍

Some weddings just have a way of feeling timeless.

Esther and Ezra's day was filled with thoughtful details, vintage touches, and so much intention from beginning to end. Every corner felt like it belonged in a photograph, but what made the day truly beautiful wasn't the aesthetic. It was the way these two looked at each other, the joy they shared with their favorite people, and the overwhelming sense of love woven throughout the entire celebration.

The details created the perfect atmosphere, but Esther and Ezra are what made the day unforgettable. Their love feels steady, genuine, and deeply rooted, and getting to document this chapter for them was such an honor.

There were happy tears, heartfelt moments, laughter echoing through the day, and countless memories made that will be cherished for years to come.

Esther and Ezra, thank you for inviting me into such a meaningful day. Your wedding was beautiful in every sense of the word, and I feel so lucky to have been a small part of it. 🤍

Golden hour, a happy pup, and two people completely in love... honestly, what more could you ask for? 🤍

Spending the evening with Sara and Ben felt like hanging out with old friends. We soaked up the sunshine, laughed our way through the session, and of course made sure their four-legged best friend got plenty of time in front of the camera too.

I always love when couples bring their dogs along. They're such a big part of the story and somehow always manage to steal the show for at least a few photos.

These two have such a natural, easygoing connection. The kind that doesn't need much direction. Just a beautiful golden evening, a little adventure, and lots of moments that felt completely like them.

Sara and Ben, thank you for trusting me to capture this season of your lives. I already know your wedding day is going to be something special. ✨

There is just something about a lake evening in Minnesota. ✨

The soft breeze, the golden light dancing across the water, and two people completely wrapped up in this exciting season of life together.

Engagement sessions are never really about perfect poses. They're about slowing down for a moment and soaking it all in. The anticipation, the excitement, the laughter, and all the little moments that make your story yours.

We spent the evening exploring by the water, chasing sunshine, and capturing memories that they'll be able to look back on for years to come.

One thing I know for sure: this season goes by way too fast. I'm always grateful to help preserve these moments before wedding planning turns into wedding day and before "fiancé" turns into "husband" and "wife." 🤍

So thankful for evenings like this and the amazing couples who trust me to tell their story.

There’s laughter, nerves, someone running around looking for something and those quiet moments where it all starts to feel real.

Tiny fingers, sleepy snuggles, and that look parents have like “how did we get this lucky?” The big moments are beautiful, but it’s these quiet, in-between ones that really stick.

First looks..... I’ll never get over them!

It’s that quiet moment before everything really begins. No crowd, no pressure, just the two of you, finally getting to take it all in.

Sometimes there are tears, sometimes it’s laughter, sometimes it’s just a deep breath and a “wow, this is really happening.”

But it’s always real. Always yours.

And honestly…it’s one of the most meaningful parts of the whole day. 🤍
