A new chapter for my photography business. 🤍

I’m so incredibly honored (and honestly, a little emotional) to share that I’ve recently taken over photography for Garden & Lake Living and Alexandria Living magazines here in Alexandria, Louisiana.

Photography has brought me so many incredible opportunities, but being trusted to document the people, places, businesses, and stories that make our community so special is something I don’t take lightly.

What a blessing it is to get to do what I love while also serving the community I’m so proud to call home. 🤍

It is such an honor to photograph this beautiful family. As a whole, they are genuine, kind, and so much fun to be around. The kind of people who make my job feel less like a job. 🥹

Sessions like this are such a sweet reminder of why I continue to pick up my camera. Getting to preserve the connection, laughter, and little moments between the people who mean the most to each other is something I will never take for granted.

I have been dying to photograph twins in my newborn studio again! 🤎

It’s been way too long since I’ve had two tiny babies in front of my camera, and I’m looking for a sweet set of newborn twins to help me refresh my twin portfolio.

This will be a discounted model session, not a free session.

My regular newborn sessions with family are $500, but for this model call, I’m offering the session for $350.

If you’re new around here, hi! 🤍 I’m Nikki, and I’m a newborn photographer in Alexandria, Louisiana.

I’ve had so many new faces find my page lately, so I wanted to take a minute to share a little more about what I do and what you can expect when you book a newborn session with me.

I specialize in newborn photography, and I offer a full-service experience from start to finish. That means you don’t have to show up with a bunch of props, outfits, or a perfectly planned vision.

From the first inquiry, I’ll help you through the process, answer your questions, help plan your session, and make sure everything is ready before you arrive.

My studio is fully stocked with wraps, props, outfits, backdrops, and multiple setups, so we can create a variety of images during your session while still keeping everything cohesive and timeless.

We’ll photograph your baby, but we can also include parents, siblings, and those little details that make this season yours.

And newborn sessions are very baby-led. We stop for feedings, diaper changes, cuddles, and whatever else your baby needs. There’s no expectation for your baby to be perfectly sleepy the entire time. 😂

After your session, I handle the editing and gallery preparation so your job is really just to show up, love on your baby, and enjoy the experience.

From the moment you inquire with your me, I want you to feel taken care of. I’ll guide you through booking, answer your questions, help you prepare for your newborn photography session, and make sure you know exactly what to expect.

Once you arrive at my Alexandria, Louisiana newborn photography studio, you don’t have to worry about knowing how to pose your baby or bringing a Pinterest-perfect plan. That’s my job. I carefully handle posing, wrapping, lighting, props, and all of the tiny details that go into creating beautiful, timeless newborn portraits while keeping baby’s comfort and safety at the forefront.

After your session, the work continues behind the scenes. I carefully select and hand-edit your images before delivering your final newborn photo gallery; filled with the tiny details, sweet expressions, and beautiful moments you’ll want to remember long after this season has passed.

This week has been filled with so much behind-the-scenes work that you don’t always get to see; endless editing, constantly searching for the perfect props, answering inquiries, planning sessions, and all the little details that go into creating an experience that feels special from start to finish.

It can be a lot, but it’s also something I wouldn’t trade for the world. 🤍 I’m incredibly grateful for every family who trusts me with these moments and for your patience, support, and understanding when things take a little time.

Please know that I am always working hard behind the scenes to give you an experience and gallery that you can truly be proud of.

Newborn sessions are something I will never take lightly. This season of life is so fleeting. The tiny fingers, sleepy stretches, little details, and all the things you wish you could freeze in time forever.

My goal is more than just taking pretty pictures. I want to create images that take you right back to this moment years from now. Images that become part of your home, your memories, and your family’s story.
