Well, hello 2026! ✨

I took a longer break from Instagram than I expected this fall. 2025 rocked me and had a way of asking for quiet and presence: more living, leaning into mom life, and more figuring things out off-screen. It was tough in ways I didn’t expect. Stepping away from the performance of posting regularly was something I didn’t know I needed but it felt right. It can all be a lot, can’t it?

A little update: I recently sent my 2025 clients a little surprise by mail (see slide 2), plus something extra special for all of my wedding couples. This is one of my favorite annual traditions, and I just love visiting client homes and seeing all of their magnets documenting their love stories across the years!

I’ve got months (okay, a lot of months) of photos that never made it here, and it feels like the right time to start sharing them, slowly. I’m looking forward to reconnecting with you again!

Introducing Mr. & Mrs. Kurzweil! 🤍✨

Last week I shared that these two are pure sunshine - and it came into practice on Saturday because despite a rainy forecast, we hardly had any sprinkles and the sun shone brightly for them!

A&M celebrated just right - with a garden party affair, treating their loved ones to a delicious and unforgettable dinner at . They built in plenty of quality time together throughout their day, and took time to lovingly greet each of their guests. And can we talk about their horah?! Hands-down one of the most fun and energetic I’ve ever had the chance to be a part of.

Let’s talk timing 👶✨

After documenting these milestones for so many sweet families, here’s what I recommend:

🤰 Maternity: You can reach out as soon as you find out you’re expecting. Most clients want to be photographed between 28–34 weeks.

👶 Newborn: Sessions are typically scheduled 1–2 weeks after birth, but it's flexible based on your recovery and preferences.

I book your newborn session based on your due date, and reserve a limited number each month to make sure I’m available when baby arrives.

The world feels heavy lately. And when it does, I find myself holding my people a little closer.

No matter what’s happening around us, our friends and family can still our source of joy, creating space for memories with the people we love. It doesn’t erase the heaviness, but it helps us carry it.

Photos are an experience. A chance to pause, recognize joy, and hold onto it. And honestly, it’s impossible to look at a photo of someone you love and not feel something. We all need more of that in our lives.
