Heirloom portraits are basically a little bit of Photoshop wizardry. ✨

What comes out of my camera is just the starting point. The real transformation happens later, when I sit down and start working my magic.

Stray hairs, scratches, little distractions, all carefully cleaned up. Skin softened just enough. Details refined one tiny step at a time until that soft, timeless heirloom look starts to appear.

Last but not least, the baby of the fam!

If you could, let’s leave her some good luck comments! The tiniest Hamilton is headed off to the cheer comp at Universal in Orlando! This will be the first flight that she remembers, first trip to Universal, and first BIG end of season competition. (Funny story— her first flight was also Orlando, but she doesn’t remember!) She is over the moon excited and can not wait for the week! If you want to leave us tips for Universal, we’d love that, too!!

Secretly, I’m most excited to watch her perform and then relax in the pool. ☀️

Nine and ten, a little too cool and a little bit complicated, but still sweet enough to love their mama well. One sporty, one who works so hard through things that are not always easy, and yet we still got pictures I love.

Meanwhile my kids the second I pull out my camera:
running feral, making dinosaur noises, choosing their own clothes, blinking on purpose, suddenly needing snacks, water, and the list goes on. 🫣

Photographer kids have a reputation.

I spend my days capturing everyone else’s sweet, smiling, perfectly behaved babies, then come home to my own little chaos crew who act like they’ve never seen a camera in their lives.

Now that they’re older it’s getting a little easier and I think this stage might be my favorite!

This mama showed up, snuggled her baby close, and trusted the process. The result, simple, natural moments that tell the real story of motherhood.
