Desert Flame Photography At Desert Flame Photography, we feel you should cherish yourself. We believe art deserves more than life in a drawer. I was in my first photo! So!

That means existing in beautiful photos for the generations with images that can be held in your hands and placed on your walls. I can say that honestly, my love of photography goes back to the start of my life. My first photo was one I took when I was barely walking - the camera was on the floor in front of a mirror, and I took the picture. My mother had me in front of every camera she could - fr

om Sears to Harts to JCPenny. I was a bit of a ham, and so when I was in my first play in the first grade... well, that was that. I did a lot of theater, and the lights were what I loved more than anything else. Truly - with my whole heart - I can say that when I got on stage and the lights worked their magic... my heart fluttered. And it still does, to this day. So what’s that have to do with anything? Well, put together a love of photos and a love of lights, and the only logical recourse left is to grow into a photographer. Several years ago, a photographer friend of mine recommended my first DSLR. I fell head over heels. Since that time, I’ve been working hard to take brilliant photos - learning along the way with a passion unrivaled by anything else I’ve ever done before. I can say with no shred of shame that I am a lover of faces. Portraiture to me is art. I’ve drawn faces, painted faces, and now... I capture them. I love to tell stories with a camera and love showing off the best expressions from my clients. It is pure joy for me to be invited into someone’s life in order to do what I love. I know all of this may sound mushy, but it’s the truth. Humans can be so beautiful! After a lot of coaxing, I decided to finally put it into practice. Desert Flame Photography LLC is my brand new baby and just like any real baby, it’s a lot of work. I’m wearing hats I haven’t worn in a long time, but it’s a labor of (you guessed it) love and one I’m pleased to endure. If you need photos from headshots to couples to engagement to seniors... visit my website and let’s get started. I’d love to work with you.

No, we're not dead, but we are in a state of hibernation, if you will. We've had some ups and downs very recently and are working through them in the hopes that soon enough, we'll be back open and ready to serve. In the meantime, I hope 2022 has been going well for all so far!

We're still in our holding pattern, trying to wait out the pandemic just a bit longer. So, the third in my family quadtych - Vincent is air! Good times with Photoshop. This one will be printed and put up on our walls as a 16x24. It was nice to create something fun.

Been a little while! This is the second in my quadtych for my family. Mine was fire, Nick's is earth! Since he loves plants, I've made him into a druid. Just a bit of fun I'm having with Photoshop. These will all be printed and put onto our wall, each 16x24. Fun times!

It's been a little while! I hope you're all staying safe as possible and if you're eligible - getting that vaccine! I can't wait for herd immunity!

Anyhow, I figured I'd share my latest Bronze-Winning photo, "The Threat and the Promise." I had fun making it and thinking up the contradictions that illustrate that title. I hope you like it, too!

Happy Holidays! No matter what you believe, no matter how small, we hope you have something to celebrate!

We are nearly upon a new year and I just wanted to send out a thank you to you all. I want you all to know just how special it feels to have people take a moment to give the page a like or even look at what we have to offer. It means the world to me, especially right now.

For the business, we are working on a lot behind the scenes, though with Covid, we couldn't do everything we wanted to do this year. That's alright, though. We'll make it through this moment in history, and with luck, next year will be our biggest and best. We are also wishing the very best for each of you as well.

Please stay safe, wash those hands, wear those masks, and keep hope and faith that the end of this pandemic is coming. Though our holidays may be altered from normal, we here at Desert Flame Photography are hoping they are happy ones at the very least.

Thank you again for your support!

Had a COVID safe photo shoot with a couple dear friends of mine. Wide open garage, crew masks, hand sanitizer, two weeks quarantine, and two sexy people who made my day. How beautiful are my friends?!

I hope it will be your turn soon!
