That means existing in beautiful photos for the generations with images that can be held in your hands and placed on your walls. I can say that honestly, my love of photography goes back to the start of my life. My first photo was one I took when I was barely walking - the camera was on the floor in front of a mirror, and I took the picture. My mother had me in front of every camera she could - fr
om Sears to Harts to JCPenny. I was a bit of a ham, and so when I was in my first play in the first grade... well, that was that. I did a lot of theater, and the lights were what I loved more than anything else. Truly - with my whole heart - I can say that when I got on stage and the lights worked their magic... my heart fluttered. And it still does, to this day. So what’s that have to do with anything? Well, put together a love of photos and a love of lights, and the only logical recourse left is to grow into a photographer. Several years ago, a photographer friend of mine recommended my first DSLR. I fell head over heels. Since that time, I’ve been working hard to take brilliant photos - learning along the way with a passion unrivaled by anything else I’ve ever done before. I can say with no shred of shame that I am a lover of faces. Portraiture to me is art. I’ve drawn faces, painted faces, and now... I capture them. I love to tell stories with a camera and love showing off the best expressions from my clients. It is pure joy for me to be invited into someone’s life in order to do what I love. I know all of this may sound mushy, but it’s the truth. Humans can be so beautiful! After a lot of coaxing, I decided to finally put it into practice. Desert Flame Photography LLC is my brand new baby and just like any real baby, it’s a lot of work. I’m wearing hats I haven’t worn in a long time, but it’s a labor of (you guessed it) love and one I’m pleased to endure. If you need photos from headshots to couples to engagement to seniors... visit my website and let’s get started. I’d love to work with you.
