Yes, I made these photos in New Mexico, but no, they aren’t from this year!

Thanks to amyMhoward for reminding me of this incredible October day.

Who else remembers this??

It was 2020, of all the years… and it snowed in Albuquerque, five days before Halloween. I remember how excited I was to close my laptop and take off to the Bosque with my camera at the end of a long work from home day. 🍂 ❄️

milky way in new mexico 🌌

With a cloudy summer and rainy start to fall, we haven’t seen much of the stars in awhile. Tonight, I just felt like revisiting some Milky Way images from clear (or at least clear-ish) nights earlier this year.

monsoon skies ⚡️

After a week of (glorious) monsoon rains - coupled with other commitments keeping me indoors and/or close to home in the evenings - it was great to get out and put a lens on a storm last night.

I would’ve been happy with a great sunset, which I also got(!) and will share soon… but needless to say, I’m not unhappy with these in the least. 😍 ⛈️
