Hey y’all! I don’t think I’ve ever introduced myself or done any kind of “biography” since I started this thing a few years ago. So here we go.
Little bit about me: 28 years old born and bred New Mexican. I fell in love with photography my freshman year of highschool shooting film, 14 years ago! I found my earthside calling (next to motherhood); in documenting love stories and life milestones that represent authenticity, faith, and raw emotion.
I’m a mother to possibly (well most likely) the two most precious human beings to ever live. 💗💙 I love ALL things Jesus and the Great American-Western culture. The trend of Cowboy becoming “popular” has taken me places I never thought I had business going. It has brought me clients tailored to my personality and style. Thanks for that! Some of the first songs I learned lyrics to were by Faith Hill, Shania Twain & Reba —thanks mama. My best childhood memories are in the backseat of my grandpas truck with my closest cousin, listening to him sing George Jones, Randy Travis and so many others. Hearing him share stories about ranching and life in the middle of no where. Watching him spin my grandma around dance floors like they were made to dance together forever. I have known admired and loved it all my life and it’s pretty sweet that I get to express that here in my work and that y’all recognize that in me.
You can catch me crying at weddings during personal vows, prayer, speeches and father/daughter dances. You hear it often, but I love LOVE, hopelessly and completely.
To those of you who have been here from the beginning and have stuck it out with me through major obstacles/transformations in my personal life, THANK YOU. Many of you have become lifelong friends that I will cherish forever. I have witnessed your marriages begin, your families grow and life be incredibly kind to you. I owe you more than I could ever repay. You have saved me in the laughter, in the beauty of the sincere moments we spend together, and in the subtle reminders that maybe I kinda actually do know what the hell I’m doing. 🤠
