HAPPY 4th of JULY

Corrales Independence Day Parade was so special! Our girls brought their flags, pom poms, and the viral, fancy, ribbon hair!

We weren't ready for the water fight at the end, but we plan to get our revenge next year. We hope you have a beautiful day and celebrate safely.

I've been having a hard time putting my 70-200mm lens down. Look at this background 😍

Revisited this spot today and found hundreds and hundreds of tiny toadlets hopping in the grass. My kids, of course, had to pick them up and I had to make sure no one brought any home!

Everything is slowing down a little over here, with dance recital completed and sports on a break between Spring and Fall. I love that I'm able to capture these sweet girls in all their activities. I think back to my sports days and wish there were a couple pictures of me playing. Oh how times have changed!

Trying to soak up all the time before school starts in August, and then choosing our fall sport/activity.

(Yes, Aspen did throw dirt at Everleigh in the middle of a game. It was one of those moments I had to capture, then reprimand haha).

When it is hot outside and most public splash pads don't open until 10am (already so warm!), we are grateful to have mornings like this at home and be indoors by 10am.

I think the splash pad is Sadie's top favorite toy right now!

Throwback to this sweet family portrait session in the Sandia Mountains.

My favorite part was when the kids were finally allowed to take off their shoes (and socks!) and race across the mountain landscape. Such a perfect reminder of childhood and their love was so evident as they played and posed for their pictures. Here are a few favorites.
