This summer, I had the opportunity to capture a glimpse of the strength and artistry of Gee’s Bend, Alabama. Learning about their history and how they turned hardship into beauty through quilting was truly inspiring. Their resilience weaves a timeless story that is now recognized worldwide. I’m looking forward to filming at their Airing of the Quilts Festival this week!
