Just a few things I’ve learned so far while being a small business owner:
1. Not every client is for you and you are not for every client. Don’t take it personally.💁🏻♀️
2. If you charge $500, someone out there will say you are overpriced and not worth that. If you charge $5000, someone out there will see your value and never even question your price.
3. You walk away from a stable 9-5 for a flexible 24/7.
4. Self care isn’t a luxury, it’s a pre-requisite.
5. Building authentic connections goes so much further than any automated workflow system.
6. It’s not a flex to be overworked and overbooked. It’s necessary to have a work-life balance!
7. There will always be an unread email or an undone task. And yes, you will always feel guilty for putting it on hold, even to spend necessary time with loved ones.
8. Want your content to be seen? Have fun doing influencery things. And no, it never gets easier or less awkward.
9. The amount of caffeine you consume is no one else’s business.☕️
10. Every doubt, every long night, every dream that felt too big.. it’s all worth it. 🙌🏻
