About Shaleem

Being artistic and creative as a child only made the transition from a college kid to a photographer that much easier. It all started with a friends entry level camera and an optimistic vision. This journey has been joyous, full of fun hurdles, and humbling experiences. From capturing the split second a newborn calms from crying is nothing short of angelic to a teen transitioning in

to adulthood at graduation. Being an independently educated photographer displays the hard work and dedication in my character as an individual which is reflected directly into my work. I’ve been able to take my vision of capturing unforgettable moments and turn it into my career.

There’s something powerful about the quiet moments before everything changes.

No grand gestures. No words that need to be spoken. Just two people taking in the reality that, in a short time, they’ll meet the little person they’ve already made room for in their hearts. Sometimes love is found in a glance. Sometimes it’s found in the silence between two hearts. This moment felt like both.
