Whoever taught them how to look at each other like THAT needs to answer some questions. 🥵🔥❤️

Being around Guy and Megan is like watching old Hollywood films in real time. And as someone who actually STUDIED the dramatic lighting techniques of old Hollywood filmmakers, I gotta say, they have it down pat.

What could’ve easily been just another grey skies, rain pouring, Oregon day, turned into an afternoon relishing in their classic “Casablanca” aura. Natural, intellectual conversations while walking cobblestone paths, snuggled together in his sports coat like this was Paris in 1962 and not the outskirts of Portland.

Meanwhile I’m standing in the rain with wet hair stuck to my face, carrying three cameras and looking like a damp little bridge troll while these two casually evoke a cinematic masterpiece five feet in front of me.

This romance? Offensive, honestly.

The way he looked at her while she fixed his tie.
The daisy field moment that accidentally turned into something suspiciously close to a luxury perfume campaign.
The running shot outside the stone chapel like they were escaping the final scene of a K drama with an unreasonably high production budget.

This is the kind of wedding energy I love most. That deeply personal, stylish without trying too hard, romantic in a way that feels lived kind of vibe. A couple who fully trusts the process and gives themselves permission to actually FEEL the day instead of just pose through it.

Color. Culture. Soul. And a romance so good Netflix would absolutely stretch this into 3 emotionally devastating seasons of which I would never recover.

Not every wedding day is smooth. Not every timeline behaves. Not every moving piece moves the way it should.

But creating beauty anyway? That’s where experience matters. 🪄📸

I knew what made an image expensive before I was the one behind the lens. ✨

Before photography fully carried me away, I was in front of the camera as a model. I was studying angles, movement, expression, light, and the tiny shifts that turn a photo from nice to unforgettable.

That perspective never left. I just moved to the other side of the lens.

I love the candid, emotional, blink and you miss it moments. But I also know how to direct, refine, and elevate a frame until it feels editorial, polished, and worthy of glossy pages.

Luxury is not just a budget or a venue. It’s taste. It’s intention. It’s knowing how to make images feel important.

Mulan taught kids of the 90s that love and respect go hand in hand. Ben and Rui showed us the fully grown, real life version.

They bowed once to Heaven and Earth, honoring the ancestors who came before them, once to their parents who raised and guided them, and finally to each other, a promise made with intention and depth.

Their three bows ceremony at Lan Su Chinese Garden reminded everyone watching that respect is something you show, not just say.

And yes, if you’re lucky, you might even get your own version of Mushu at your wedding too.

🚨 🚨 🚨 MWP Alumni Alert 🚨 🚨 🚨

When B + A got married, I gushed over their love.

Her mom made me cry by adoring A as she got ready and whispering to a 9 month pregnant emotional bomb (me), “This will be you soon.”

I even remember the groomsman’s speech about how A’s brother introduced them and they hung out together often. Once when it was time to call it a night, he awkwardly stood at the door waiting for B to follow him out before realizing he was definitely going to be STAYING.

And now? I’m gushing over this sweet little squish of a human they created. The world just got a little bit better friends. This dude is going to do great things. 💙🌎🌟

If Lady Whistledown had a Portland edition, this soirée would be the cover story.

Golden ceilings, jewel toned florals and regal elements galore. I mean, the string quartet played Britney Spears’ “Toxic.” Those riffs on cello are a vibe I didn’t know I needed in my life.

You guys. She literally ☀️ BEAMED ☀️ every time she looked at him. And he would immediately respond with a shy, let’s- throw- some- sarcastic- humor-in-the-conversation-because-I’m- awkward-when-taking-compliments kind of smile.

This was happening in REAL TIME, right in front of me, after YEARS of them being together and in love.

So when I say these two are relationship GOALS, I ain’t playin.
