Long story short- I’m not moving to San Diego and will be staying in Oregon due to my partners healthcare needs keeping us in the area. It was hard to accept but overall it’s for the best and I am happy to stay near all of my support system and Oregon clients. These past few months have been extremely difficult on my mental health and I haven’t opened up a lot about what I’m going through because I’m so sick of feeling sad all the time and don’t want to share sob stories every time I post so here’s a beautiful photo of my friend on my dads property with his cat, Cookie who followed us into the woods and demanded attention the entire time. I even had to put her on my shoulder at one point just so I could shoot without her getting in the shot lol

I’m still struggling to recover from burnout and depression lately. Trying to find a work life balance in this world feels like an uphill battle. I’m practicing saying no more and trying to re-inspire myself outside of photography. I’ve just been grinding since July 2020 and really caught up with me 🥹 Posting at all seems hard most of the time but here are some pretty photos I took of my friend Sierra for her maternity session! I hope you all are having a nice week. Stay safe out there, friends! 😷

I don’t know about you but I am feeling the pandemic burnout extra hard lately. Everyone I know has been going through it for a while. Times are tough and uncertain. That can cause a lot of anxiety and dread. Those emotions are valid. Make sure to find time show yourself love and spend time with people who make you feel safe and fulfilled.

Congratulations to Sarah and Alma! 👏 what an incredible wedding day filled with so much love and joy. It was an honor to capture and I loved getting to see how loving and excited their parents were, I definitely cried at a couple of the toasts and there was happy tears going on all day. Such a sweet time celebrating two wondering people. Cheers to the beautiful brides!

EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT! I will be relocating to sunny San Diego this December! I am beyond excited for this move, it feels so right and exciting. I’ll be a couple hours from Joshua Tree so I’ll be able to do all the steamy (and non-steamy) portraits and couples sessions out there! 🔥 I’m excited for my Oregon friends and clients to visit me and plan a Joshua tree or San Diego session while they visit. The area has so much to offer and inspires me every time I go. I can’t wait to call it home and have even more time to explore and create magic in such a wonderful part of the world. Oregon will always have a piece of my heart, I was born and raised here and it’s truly shaped me into the person and creative that I am today. I imagine I’ll move back to Oregon someday but for now I think it’s time for me to get out of my comfort zone and see what else the world has to offer. I’ll be back to visit Oregon often, and I will be here for any weddings or sessions I’ve already booked! I still have openings this Summer and Fall before I move, so if you live in Oregon and have been waiting to book with me, now is the perfect time!

The best part of my job is getting to help babes see their beauty. Everyone leaves their bo***ir session glowing with confidence and it’s the best feeling ever. This babe booked her session to gift her fiancé an album before their wedding. They were nice enough to share the video of him opening his gift and it’s so precious!
