📸 A headshot for the next chapter. Lucy recently reached out to me for headshots to use with her medical school application.
We kept the session simple and focused—working in the studio with both gray and white backgrounds to give her a few different looks to choose
from.
There’s something special about photographing someone at the beginning of an exciting next step.
I really enjoyed working with Lucy and being a small part of that process. Wishing her the very best as she takes this next step toward a career in medicine.

Ricky was easy going from the start, and we spent the session talking, laughing, and taking our time rather than rushing from one pose to the
next.

As a Criminal Justice professor at SUNY Albany, he wanted a few
updated portraits that would work in different settings. We changed outfits, switched backgrounds, and let each look develop naturally.
It’s amazing how those small changes can create photographs with completely different personalities.

One of the things I appreciate most about this work is meeting people
from so many different professions. Every session is a chance to hear
a little about someone’s story, and for a short time, I get to be a
small part of it.

Actor headshots are about more than just having a good photo—they need to communicate personality, range, confidence, and authenticity in a single image.

Serena came into her session with exactly that. After 30 years in nursing, she is bringing her real-world experience, strength, and warmth into a revitalized acting career in New York.

For this session, the goal was to create actor headshots that felt natural, approachable, expressive, and versatile enough to support both commercial and character-driven roles.

One of my favorite parts of photographing actors is helping them create images that not only look like them—but also reflect who they are and the kinds of roles they can step into.

It is always such an honor to photograph individuals whose work is making an impact, and to be trusted with creating the image that introduces them to readers!

Recently, I was contacted by the editor of Compliance & Ethics Professional® Magazine, to photograph the June cover featuring Bailey Mack.

The assignment was to create corporate yet artistic portraiture that reflected both professionalism and personality. Bailey is the Chief Compliance Officer for Together for Youth and The House of the Good Shepherd, and she was truly a delight to work with throughout the process.

Bailey has written several articles for the publication, and it was exciting to help tell her story visually for a magazine that reaches compliance professionals around the world.

Compliance & Ethics Professional® (CEP Magazine) is SCCE’s award-winning monthly publication and continues to grow its readership among chief compliance officers, executives, attorneys, government agencies, scholars, entrepreneurs, and professionals entering the field.
