Actor headshots are about more than just having a good photo—they need to communicate personality, range, confidence, and authenticity in a single image.

Serena came into her session with exactly that. After 30 years in nursing, she is bringing her real-world experience, strength, and warmth into a revitalized acting career in New York.

For this session, the goal was to create actor headshots that felt natural, approachable, expressive, and versatile enough to support both commercial and character-driven roles.

One of my favorite parts of photographing actors is helping them create images that not only look like them—but also reflect who they are and the kinds of roles they can step into.

It is always such an honor to photograph individuals whose work is making an impact, and to be trusted with creating the image that introduces them to readers!

Recently, I was contacted by the editor of Compliance & Ethics Professional® Magazine, to photograph the June cover featuring Bailey Mack.

The assignment was to create corporate yet artistic portraiture that reflected both professionalism and personality. Bailey is the Chief Compliance Officer for Together for Youth and The House of the Good Shepherd, and she was truly a delight to work with throughout the process.

Bailey has written several articles for the publication, and it was exciting to help tell her story visually for a magazine that reaches compliance professionals around the world.

Compliance & Ethics Professional® (CEP Magazine) is SCCE’s award-winning monthly publication and continues to grow its readership among chief compliance officers, executives, attorneys, government agencies, scholars, entrepreneurs, and professionals entering the field.
