I've been highlighting and celebrating businesses all month for National Black Business Month. But there's one more I need to celebrate before this month ends, mine!

I've been an entrepreneur (off and on) for more than 15 years now, and a professional photographer for more than 10.

Funny enough, entrepreneurship was never the plan. But now, it's become a calling and one of my greatest blessings.

I'm eternally grateful for every client, supporter, and creative partner I've had the pleasure of meeting and working with. Thank you!

To all the people that have entrusted me with their image, thank you! Your continued support of my business means more to me than you know.

I can't wait to see what the next 10-15 years of this journey is going to bring. And don't worry, I'm going to continue to support, highlight, and celebrate Black-owned businesses all year long!

It's the last week of Black Business Month! Today's business spotlight is on Eda Garcia, founder of the Farmacy Herb Makers Nursery, at the Village Community Garden in Sylvester, Georgia.

Farmacy offers medicinal and culinary plants, salves, teas, tinctures, and tonics, all grown in south Georgia soil. The Village Community Gardens also provides health and wellness education in an effort to build healthier communities.

I love a day trip! Yesterday's adventure was to Massee Lane Gardens in Fort Valley, Georgia.

They have some construction going on right now, but it was still absolutely gorgeous. Walking trails, the lake, a Japanese garden, so much to see!

Not gonna lie, it was hot!🥵 I'll definitely go back later next month once it cools down a bit.
