At any given time last Saturday, you could have found us boiling down maple syrup, painting trim in the baby’s room, and trying to explain to the 3-year old that the seeds she insisted on planting were not going to sprout immediately. 🌱 Can you tell that with the first signs of spring we want to do ALL THE THINGS!!

But. I’m also trying to make those things smaller and do-able because busy season 📷 is also ramping up and I want to keep doing the projects that give me life without them becoming overwhelming.

So that might mean I only start 4 trays of seeds instead of 20 . Favorite ways to stay sane in your busy seasons? I’ll take all your tips.

Once upon a time, Rachel’s Mom and I were co-workers. She was then, and is still to this day, one of my very favorite people.

So when Rachel inquired about photographing their wedding day, it felt like such an intimate invitation to capture this special family.

And watching them all completely love on and bring Caleb into their tribe was truly special. They know how to love and build up one another so well. 🖤

Somehow we made it through end of year crazy - and I’m reveling in the quiet that January encourages. 🕯️ Except, let’s be real, it’s truly never quiet with three littles underfoot!

So in between baby proofing the house for the third time, I can’t wait to share more of the beautiful moments I had the honor of capturing this past year, and am so excited to walk alongside my beautiful couples and families in 2024.

I truly have some of the most special people planning their weddings for this year and I can’t wait for them to experience all.the.joy.

And always always grateful for who captures my crazies so beautifully year after year. Finally got photos printed and on the wall! 📷
