Hey everyone I wanted to share a little life update with you all as to why I’ve been MIA lately.
If you know me personally you know about our dog Ranger. Many of you may recognize him just from his modeling for me. Last year Ranger was diagnosed with Lymphoma. Ranger was diagnosed in March of last year and we began chemo treatments April 2nd. There was hope. He had responded well and we thought it could only look up from here. Ranger was a healthy dog had a great baseline to fight. And fight he did he was so strong. He graduated chemo in Sept and not even a week later his cancer came back. We pushed forward with new treatments, his body didn’t respond to anything. We tried everything, every option available. Nothing worked and we lost our baby boy on New Year’s Eve. We have been grieving the loss of our boy and on top of losing him we had to move due to the owner selling the house we were living in. It was a lot of big changes and challenges in a short period of time that we have just been taking life one day at a time. He was our everything our soul dog. While I know I will never feel better about losing my boy I know that we have family friends and a community to support us. Here are some of my favorite captures of our boy❤️🩹
I realize I have neglected my business for quite some time now and I’m going to continue moving forward. We have a lot of ideas how to honor Ranger but for starters I will be looking into joining The Tilly Project a non for profit that connects photographers with pet owners for end of life sessions. Something we were able to do with Ranger and I want to capture those memories for others as well because that’s why I started photography. To capture memories, capture the emotions of my clients, the growth through the years. Thank you to all my amazing clients who have trusted me with your amazing memories and those who continue to support me.
With that being said if you are in need of a photo session I am officially taking bookings again! Here’s to our little community and capturing memories that last a lifetime ❤️🩹
