When we first started running, we had no real understanding of what it was to participate in a running event.
From traveling to the location, immersing ourselves in the local festivities, to participating in the actual event with so many others, and so much more. We just had no understanding.
The Goose Chase hosts numerous races and events each year in the Eastern TN region, and three of these events are a trifecta of Half Marathons. The half marathons are hosted in different cities throughout the year and each exhibit their own unique theme and draw.
When we first arrived in Elizabethon to check in to the AirBNB and pick up our packets for the Music and Miles half marathon, we got our first taste of what an experience we were in for.
Now get your tennis shoes on and let’s get outside!! This is the first video in a Half Marathon series we filmed in 2023.
