I LOVE photography, and getting to document a special moment in someone's life, be a wedding day, birth, or senior year, is the absolute biggest honor I could receive. My business is inclusive of all families, LGBTQIA+ people and relationships, and all pregnant and birthing people. The space in front of my camera is safe, accepting and free of judgement. *Family Photography*
Family sessions get such a bad rap! They're notorious for grumpy spouses and wild kids. I say we flip the script, and if that's who your family is on that day, then that's what we capture! I have a toddler of my own who is generally the sweetest little munchkin, and never fails to decide its time to throw a fit on picture day. I've learned how to roll with the punches, and create a fun and easy-going environment that means you will walk away with beautiful images you'll love for years, even if we have a grumpy kid or two.

*Couples & Engagement Photography*
Working with couples is such a blast! We'll work together to choose a location that fits you best. I'll pay some music, get you feeling loose, and guide you along a super fun time resting in the love that you have for each other.

*Maternity & Birth*
Carrying and delivering a child is such a momentous and special time in a birthing persons life. In the moment, it can feel so long but looking back on it, it feels precious to reflect back on creating and bringing a child into the world. Whatever your pregnancy looks like, however you choose to deliver, if you want to honor it by capturing it, I would love to photograph it for you. Whether you want a maternity session on the beach to a cozy studio session, from a c-section to a home birth, I consider myself lucky to come along with you in your journey of growing your family.

So I did this really silly thing about a year ago where I psyched myself out about posting on social media, and started comparing my work to photographers charging tens of thousands of dollars for weddings, and basically talked myself out of putting effort into photography professionally. I became fearful of being “cringe”, as every millennial has been at one moment or another. I started feeling sh*tty about my work, that I didn’t find some new perfect, creative angle or that my tones weren’t has creamy, dreamy, dark, blurred, whatever adjective is hot in the photography world right now and I scared myself out of continuing to put my work out there.

And what a fu***ng shame that was. I’ve hardly picked up my camera in the last year. It’s sat in my camera bag quietly, pulled out to photograph the occasional friend or family and put back away while I make myself sick over missing it.

And now, my creativity is tired of being corked, and as we say, embracing my generation, “To be cringe is to be free!”

So at the risk of having people roll their eyes at me from behind their phone that I will never see, I’m putting effort into photography again.

I’m officially announcing my return to weddings and families and couples and portraits. I won’t niche down, because I don’t want to! I’ll photograph the things that you want me there for, whatever moments those are. My website will be up and running again by the end of the month.

Creative portraits are absolutely so fun and under utilized! Think of these sessions as your chance to play super model. It’s your chance to play dress up like when you were little, and have a hype woman (me) right there to help make it an experience! The photos you come away with aren’t just an awesome and beautiful representation of who you are at this particular time, but it’ll be the memory of a really cool experience that most women I’ve photographed find really empowering.

Not so much a new era, but an updated one! I’ve gone back to a website and platform that I never should’ve left, with some updates!
