Happy American Business Women’s Day!

Today, we’re celebrating the heart, soul, and creative engine behind Southern Gem: our founder, owner, and operator, Meg!

If you’re new around here, Meg isn’t just running the show, she is built directly into the fabric of everything we do. In fact, if you look closely at our name, GEM is MEG spelled backwards! 💫 That’s no coincidence; her vision, passion, and personal touch are woven into every single event, smile, and photo session we create.

Six years ago, Meg took a leap of faith driven by a simple, powerful dream: to combine her deep love for people with her unique creative talents. She set out to build more than just a photo, video and photo booth company, she wanted to deliver the absolute best photo experience in the South, capturing unforgettable memories and bringing pure joy to clients across our community.

Building a business from the ground up takes grit, dedication, and endless heart, and Meg poured all of that and more into Southern Gem. Today, we honor her vision, her hard work, and every woman entrepreneur out there turning big dreams into reality!
