Last night, I got to the park to set up for my Mother + Milk minis—minis that were born out of my love of nursing my babies—I was visited by someone special.

Daphne’s nickname is Ducky, and as I was setting up along the bank of the lake, one lone duck came and said hi.

I’m often asked where I feel closest to Daphne—her resting spot, her nursery, or somewhere else. And honestly? I don’t think there’s one location that stands out, because she always sends me signs to say she’s right there with me.
