BIG NEWS!!!!!!!!

The Tucson gem and mineral show is just weeks away and I know that excitement is brewing amongst the community. Sadly, I won't be there. But the good news is that my artwork will be there!!!

Thanks to Pat Brown there will be 120 posters available for purchase! All proceeds will go towards my ABLE account to fund my move to Tucson Arizona. These six high quality photos will be the options you'll have to choose from in 8x10, 11x14, and 16x20 inch sizes. We will be talking with some of the dealers about having some in their booths/rooms. I'm also including my COA signed for provenance. The back of each poster has the name of the meteorite, XP light or any wave plate I may have used, and the magnification of the objective I used. Hello everyone! My apologies for forgetting to add a description of these pictures along with pricing and purchase options. This one is really cool, this is NWA 17935. This meteorite is a group collaboration among fellow meteorite collectors, myself included. This project was organized by Topherspin Meteorites who procured a large ordinary chondrite. For those who placed a payment they received a full slice of the meteorite, their name was added to the Meteoritical Bulletin, and some folks paid extra for a thin section. Of course, I had to get a thin section. This is a beautiful, highly altered, L6 chondrite! Take a look and message me if you'd like to place an order!

Happy New Year!!!!! I hope that you all have a safe and happy 2026! I don't know about you, but it feels surreal saying 2026. What's also surreal is the amount of money we've raised so far. Exciting news everyone! My very first solo classification has been approved and published in the Metbull!!!!! Months ago I offered up professionally sliced and polished full slices of this meteorite. Some very lucky people got a very cool, somewhat rare, meteorite. The official name of my meteorite is NWA 17476 and the classification is an H3! There's not a lot of H3 chondrites out there readily available. From the main mass I only have one end cut and one slice available for donations to my ABLE account. I got an upgrade to my microscope!!! I received a plan fluorite objective. This thing is incredible!!!!! I can't do better than this. Crisp all the way to the edge and from the top layer of the thin section to the bottom layer. I'm just ecstatic about the quality of images I can capture now. Facebook compresses the pictures I post but trust me when I say that these are high quality photos. New pictures are coming soon! I am honored to have had the amazing opportunity to have one of my thin section photos in a new children's book about meteorites!!! This enchanting book aims to educate children about meteorites and space, spark curiosity, and instill wonder about the universe. I was thrilled by the opportunity to contribute to the accuracy of the science in this book. As a citizen scientist, I strive for providing the most accurate science I can provide to the public. Science education is tremendously important for children and adults to understand the world around us. Here's something very special for your consideration. This is Vaca Mu**ta! As a Mesosiderite it is composed of roughly equal parts of iron/nickel and silicate minerals. But, this thin section is a eucrite inclusion from the meteorite!!! Meteorites containing inclusions of other meteorite classifications isn't unheard of. LL3 ordinary chondrites have had carbonaceous chondrite inclusions embedded within them. Here's your chance to get a poster or canvas print of a rare inclusion.
