Let me just take a minute to brag about my best friend! She’s a free birthing queen and goddess! 👑💕

This is the second birth of hers that I’ve attended and I’m in awe. She is so calm, confident, and self aware. I admire her so much for honing her natural instinct and letting her body do it’s job. This is how we were meant to birth. ✨

I’m so proud of you and so thankful to have you in my life! 💕 Women are such incredible and strong beings! Thank you for allowing me in your birth space and to be part of these memories.

Being present for this birth was such a blessing and I am so thankful I was able to be there for my dear friend. This momma was so strong. Her body knew exactly what to do and she handled her labor with grace and power. It’s so sweet witnessing a baby and momma meet for the first time. A memory that was captured to last and be remembered forever. ✨

Women are incredible and being present at a birth always confirms that. Our bodies know exactly what to do.

“You have nothing to prove.”

“There’s no shame in getting the epidural.”

“Why would you want to do this?”

“You’re crazy!”

These are only a few things I’ve heard when I told people I wanted an all natural birth at home. How sad the norm has changed to not encourage but to squash a mother’s instinct to allow her body to do what it is made to do.

We are dampening all sensation and connection when it comes to women being in rhythm with their own strength and power. We are selfishly projecting fears onto them because we lacked the proper support ourselves. We forgot our ancestors have been through this before and have been doing this since the beginning of time.

Let us please stop treating birth as an emergency and start treating it as a natural experience. Giving birth is a spiritual journey and is sacred to a woman’s transformation into being a mother. Each woman deserves the opportunity to know exactly how strong she is.
