Here comes the sun ☀️

After more than two weeks of ice, snow, and frozen sidewalks, it finally feels good to enjoy some warmer weather in Charlottesville — with the snow finally starting to slowly melt away. Downtown coming back to life, sidewalks opening up, and one last cozy nod to winter at MarieBette during Hot Chocolate Month 🍫❄️

Different hot chocolates all month, sunshine in the forecast, and a perfect excuse to get back outside — so grab someone you’ve missed being out with and go enjoy it together.

Spring officially arrives in about a month — but for now, let’s soak up the warmth while we can

Hours & Tickets:
• Winery open 11am–9pm on Illuminated nights
• Illuminated menu starts at 5:30pm (kitchen closes 8:30pm)
• Tickets recommended ahead, but available at the gate
• No ticket/reservation needed for the tasting room 🙌
• Extra seating available in the ballroom

Ticket Prices:
• Adults: $15
• Children 4–13: $10
• Children 3 & under: Free

There’s something truly magical about the Charlottesville Downtown Mall during the holidays ✨

The lights, the energy, the glow of the storefronts — and seeing the Christmas tree lit up right in the heart of it all never gets old. It’s one of those moments that instantly puts you in the holiday spirit.

Families walking, friends meeting up, music in the air, and the whole mall shining — this is what the season is all about. Charlottesville just knows how to do the holidays right. 🎄

The Rotunda dusted in snow… the Lawn glowing… the Blue Ridge wrapped in white. It’s Charlottesville at its most magical, and a reminder of the excellence, tradition, and vision that define the University of Virginia.
