🎥 BUILDING A GIANT OVERHEAD SOFTBOX FOR THE STUDIO

One of the biggest upgrades I've made to my personal studio is building a large overhead softbox that can scale from small product shoots to larger video productions.

The goal was simple: create soft, even lighting that works across bigger sets without relying on multiple overhead fixtures. By building a custom overhead diffusion system, I can light interviews, commercial setups, product shoots, and larger scenes while maintaining a natural, cinematic look.

This overhead softbox gives me: ✅ Softer shadows ✅ Better light wrap on subjects ✅ More consistent lighting across the entire set ✅ Faster setup times for larger productions ✅ Greater flexibility for both photo and video work

As someone who spends a lot of time shooting commercials, branded content, and studio productions, having a large overhead light source makes a huge difference in creating clean, professional-looking images.

I'm still fine-tuning the setup, but it's already becoming one of the most useful tools in the studio.
