Photography has taught me that life is so much more than a perfect image. It's not always about ideal composition, excellent lighting, perfect outfits.
Capturing a bride with her parents, a husband looking at his partner, a child kissing mom on the cheek - that's what really matters. It's the love, the connection, and the feelings a family gets when they're together! I strive to capture these feelings at each session.
In case we haven't met yet...a little about me! I'm Nikki, and I photograph weddings and elopements on the East Coast (I'm always willing to pack my bags and travel to any other location, I love new adventures!). This is my third year in my own business. But I had been in the industry for over six.
O, I know that many people would NOT agree with me on this one, but I do love a snowy winter!
I'd like to share some little fun activities that help me smile every day:
- Dance in your kitchen, turn on the music and just dance and sing while mixing that pancake mix.
- Take a walk in the woods. I love doing this with my puppies!
- Send someone a silly picture to make them laugh. Let's take advantage of the internet and use it to make someone smile; try not to stay stuck on the phone 24/7.
- Hold someone you care about very tight, hug them real good.
- Don't be afraid of showing affection, and say "I love you" to all those you care about.
