Stepped out of my comfort zone and tried backpacking got a night at Isle Royale National Park. Took the ferry from Houghton to Rock Harbor on the Ranger lll. Little did I know that one night wasn't even close to enough time on the island. A future return trip is something to look forward to.

The Raspberry Island Lighthouse is a beautiful lightbouse in the Apostle Islands. This is an island I would like to visit in the future. Built in 1862 to help guide ships and commercial steamboats through the west channel of the islands.

Sea caves and the Devils Island Lighthouse. The water was a bit choppy on Lake Superior when we departed Bayfield. Fortunately that changed and we were able to make our way over to see this island.

Incredible views overlooking the Susie Islands but I was more interested in how the fog was taking over the coastline. I have driven right past this overlook every time but never stopped because it never grabbed my attention until that morning.
