Last night, I photographed my very last wedding—and with that, I closed the door on a chapter that’s been seven years in the making.
This is so bittersweet to me.
For the past seven years, I’ve been more than just a wedding photographer. I’ve laughed and cried with my brides, advocated for them, fixed veils, touched up make up and hair, calmed nerves, danced behind my camera, and held space for some of the most sacred moments two people can share.
This journey has given me a front-row seat to so much beauty and love. I’ve had the honor of capturing incredible weddings, meeting inspiring people, and walking away with lifelong friendships. Every story I’ve been a part of has shaped me, challenged me, and reminded me why I fell in love with photography in the first place.
But as seasons change, so do we—and right now, my heart is calling me home.
I’m stepping away from weddings so that I am able to be fully present in this fleeting, precious season of life with my own family.
That said, I’m not putting down my camera. I’ll still be capturing portraits—the quiet, meaningful, everyday moments that tell your story in a different way.
To every couple who trusted me, laughed with me, and invited me into their day: thank you.💕
Truly. You’ve given me more than you’ll ever know.
Here’s to honoring where we’ve been—and looking forward to what’s next. 💫
