Has anyone else’s spare bedroom become a catch-all/storage unit? 🫣

Ours currently holds lawn equipment, festive decor, and approximately 700 things we “don’t have anywhere else to put.” 😅😅😅

FOUR generations… and somehow one of the EASIEST family sessions I’ve ever photographed! 🩵

The Lehew Family was an absolute DREAM to work with.

I’ve said in the past that while I LOVE every session I get to photograph, couple sessions are definitely where I feel like I thrive the most. There’s just something about them that feels so natural to me.
..BUT THEN I GET A FAMILY LIKE THIS… 🤩🤩

And suddenly I’m over here thinking, “Okayy… maybe I could do family sessions all day too!” 🤣

This is why I love what I do. Every session is unique, and I feel so lucky that I get to be the one behind the camera documenting these moments for them.

But also… maybe y’all are just hiding out because I haven’t posted a stranger session in a hot minute. 🤨🤭

Sometimes my favorite sessions are taken right in my own backyard 🤭

Throwback to one year ago with Kassidy! This session was SO much fun.

In college, I had several assignments that pushed me out of my comfort zone and made me try different vibes than what I normally do. I won’t lie, sometimes I miss those fun prompts!

It was fun getting to experiment and play around. 🫶

I just wanted to update y'all... for those who care... 🤣

✅ ALL of the laundry is done.
✅ Dishes are done.
✅ Floors are swept.
✅ Cleaned out my closet and got rid of 2-3 trash bags of clothes.

I feel like I can do ANYTHING right now 🤪

POV: You trust your photographer after dark. 🌙

We started this session by the lake during golden hour, but instead of calling it a day when the sun disappeared, we kept going.

The glow of the street lights, a parked car, the quiet of the evening... the vibes were thereee! 🤌😍

By the end of the night, it didn't even feel like a photoshoot anymore. I was just a third wheel on their date. 🥹

Update at 1am…

I hung up 1 load of laundry (I have about 10 more) and then rotted away on my couch the rest of the evening🫣

Now I’m watching a Netflix documentary, playing on my phone, and staying up way too late.

A free evening... and I'm actually caught up on editing?! 😳

I genuinely don't know what to do with myself.

Productive answer:
🧺 Laundry. So. Much. Laundry. 😭😭
