After 10 incredible years, I’m announcing that I am transitioning away from photography as I prepare to take on a new adventure this fall. I started this business as a brand new mom with the hope that it would make a little extra money and allow me to be home with my baby. It turned into more than I ever imagined it could, and it’s so hard now to picture my life as someone other than “Syd, your photographer.” Annnnnd I’m crying.
This business has seen me through so many chapters of life - my best and my hardest. Through every chapter, two things remained constant: the most precious clients who became like family to me and a job that I have truly loved. We have traveled lots of miles, celebrated many milestones, and created memories that I’ll treasure and stories that I’ll tell for the rest of my life. There are a few that may or may not involve some light trespassing, some hilarious Photoshop moments, and an unfortunate static cling situation that are probably best kept between friends. 🤭
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the support you’ve given me over the years. This “small” business has allowed me to provide for my family while achieving many goals and dreams, and there are simply no words that could ever reflect my gratitude. Crying again.
I would LOVE to squeeze in a few more sessions while I have the studio through July. Let’s plan something if you’re needing an updated family photo, a Back to School mini, or a fun “just because” session!
I would also love to hear some of your favorite memories from our adventures together and see some of your favorite photos in the comments. This post can be my little SLP digital scrapbook.
Thank you again for a decade that I will always look back on with joy, pride, and a full heart. ❤️
Still crying.
Love,
Syd
