I have an awesome labor affirmation download for all you moms, doulas, midwives to download and print. These are my photographs of beautiful nature that I have compiled over the years attached with appropriate uplifting words and verses.

You can download them for $7.99 on my store Cherishedblessingart or can venmo me directly and I can print them for you personally for $15 on printer paper.
This is just one of the 18 in the download on my shop called CherishedBlessingArt. I truly enjoyed making these and will be making more of like the grand canyon and other amazing spots and places like the beach to add to this etsy shop as well as my epoxy coasters with rose petals.

I had the privilege of assisting this wonderful super mom in her first birth several weekends ago as her Doula-photographer.

It was an honor, a complete honor to witness and capture such love, joy and beauty of this woman, her husband and their precious daughter Sophia.

What is a doula you may ask?

A doula is an support to the mom in assisting all her needs in all capacity- physical, mental emotional and spiritual. She is an encourager, medical advocate for asking the appropriate questions on the behalf of the couple and the baby and spiritual assistant protecting the room, the labor, the mom in all facets and interceding in asking for spiritual healing over the mom and baby.

She provides counter pressure and massage techniques over the mom. Assistance in exercises to help the dilation process to speed up in a various amount of ways. She helps the mom to focus on breathe work and offers advice in different ways to relief the pain of child birth and contractions with various therapy including hydrotherapy, hypnotherapy, spiritual meditation over the mind etc.

She is there to grab the dad coffee or make sure to ask the nurse for additional blankets or heating pads when dad is sleeping. She allows for the father to get sleep and also shows dad how to help as well if he is unsure of what to do.

This birth was 12 hours of rem cycle sleeping in the middle of the night, lots of encouraging talks, lots of meditation and breathe work, lots of trusting that when the baby is ready she will arrive at the perfect time.

I am so proud of this mom and her husband in just the tremendous amount of love they showed each other and this baby. She is truly blessed to come into this world with such a wonderful couple to parent her. I am thankful for the experience and the honor to work with you both.
