Ava | Class of 2026
The last time I’d seen Ava before her senior shoot, she was…wait for it…eight years old! And when she stepped out of the car, I was like, “WHUT?” Yes, they grow so fast.
Ava is the fourth of her blended-family siblings that I’ve had the pleasure of photographing. So I am practically family now! Plus, Ava laughs out loud at my attempt to speak “Gen Alpha.” I get it wrong every single time.
A very busy award-winning cheerleader, Ava’s schedule was super tight, so it was tricky scheduling her photo session. But we did it.
She wanted tall, willowy grasses. And after my extensive location search, I found a park not far from her home. It gives us beautiful late fall vibes and Golden Hour sun and gentle November breezes cool.
Funny thing—moments before the session, Ava had decided to cut, I mean “alter” her black dress by a few inches to make it fit her personal style a little more.
Always innovative, her long and lovely blue dress matched her eyes but not the shoes she’d brought. So she went barefoot. The wind in her hair and Georgia clay between her toes. Perfect.
Ava, you are delightful. I wish you the best for the remainder of your senior year—and always. Stay awesome, sweet friend.
