If some of you didn’t know, I used to be a makeup artist when I first started in my career! Whenever I wasn’t working doing hair or makeup on the side for weddings/photo shoots/etc, I would spend so much time playing around and practicing with makeup when I was at home creating really fun looks.

I’ve been missing it lately. So naturally, yesterday I decided to break out the palettes, find a white wall, grabbed my camera & ring light to try out some more traditional-ish self portrait shots to capture my makeup look. 😊

I think I like how they turned out! I can’t wait to experiment more with self portraits. I am definitely no model at all, I just like to have fun and express my creativity! 🍀🌱💚

Hi friends!!! I have decided to start learning the world of photography. 💛 I have always loved taking photos of places I’ve traveled to (even as a young kiddo) and taking photos of people, my pets & of course a nice selfie here and there on my plain ol iPhone-I literally have 47,000 pics on my phone. 😂 Now, I have a big girl camera & think about snappin’ all the time. 📸Since mine and Noah’s first “professional” photos we had taken back in 2020, every shoot we had done after that just made me really want to explore photography. Especially after getting our wedding photos done in Vegas, it really made me fall in love and inspired me to stop holding back and stop thinking “you could never.” There are so many amazing photographers out there and I just admire their work so much and can only hope to be as good as they are one day! The whole experience is just something special, you’re capturing a moment in time for others to keep forever! 🥰

So, here we are…full time hairdresser, part time photographer!
