I received my very own copy of Mr. Perron's and Carlene Harris, with Andrea Perron as a contributing editor; "Being Perronormal A Memoir: Short Stories From a Ling Life". I went with the full color hardcover edition. It is absolutely beautiful. I flipped through it many times but have not started diving into it yet. But I can say this, the labor of love that went into this book is certainly within the pages. As a Dad, this is the ultimate tribute. The book is filled with personal photos of the family both old and recent and really has the appearance of being welcomed into the Perron family. You'll find my photo of the Farmhouse within it's pages as well as the Farmhouse throughout the years the Perron family lived there. I never got to meet him but I am looking forward to hear directly from the man himself. Major Congratulations Carlene & Andrea! Link in the comments for purchase.

Stepped out of my comfort zone yet again last night and did a podcast interview with The Brillyant Podcast. Oh, yes, my absolute awkwardness will shine though! HA! We talked about photography, everything spooky, Wicked Strange, haunted encounters, etc. Still not sure a photographer talking about this stuff would be interesting to anyone but what the hell why not! Allen Brill comes across as someone I'd love the hang with and, well, we did on the podcast. Not sure when it'll drop yet though.

I am honored to have one of my photographs of the Conjuring House within this book. While I never got to meet Mr. Perron, I look forward to reading his stories. Looking very forward to the book Andrea and Carlene! Congratulations for it's release!

Valley Inn Restaurant in Portsmouth, Rhode Island, operates inside a historic 1892 farmhouse built on the site of a 17th-century homestead famous for a dark colonial murder mystery and subsequent ghost story.

Whenever I drove by The Valley Inn Restaurant in my 20s and even now, it always looked haunted to me and I was not even aware of the "Amityville House" windows (not pictured) on the sides of it until very recently. Turns out, it is reported to be haunted. Check out the Rebecca Cornell story for more info.
