Some details are worth so much more than their monetary value. 🥹

The groom’s Poppy had a tradition of giving his grandchildren $2 bills. They were never meant to be spent, but kept. As his grandchildren grew up and found their forever people, he made sure their significant others received one, too.

The week before he passed away, Poppy gave Macayla her very own $2 bill.

A simple piece of paper worth just two dollars, but to this bride and groom, it’s priceless. Macayla and Sam requested that it be included in some of their detail shots, so of course I made sure it was featured in several and by itself, as well.

And getting to photograph something so small, yet so incredibly meaningful, is exactly why I love what I do!

Not every day you get to photograph a real-life touring model you went to school with, let alone her ENGAGEMENT SESSION! 🥹

And can we talk about how ICONIC a Waffle House engagement session is?! The vibes, the nostalgia, the romance. I’m obsessed with every bit of it!!
