There is something incredibly freeing about creating simply for the joy of creating.

This spooky, sexy Halloween bo***ir session gave us the opportunity to play with ideas, experiment with lighting and styling, laugh through the unexpected moments, and make something completely different from our everyday work.

The finished photographs may look moody and mysterious, but behind the scenes there was so much laughter.

That contrast is one of the things I love most about photography. An image can feel dramatic, sensual, haunting, or powerful while the experience of creating it can be comfortable, collaborative, and genuinely fun.

Your Empowerment Experience doesn’t have to feel serious or intimidating just because the photographs are beautiful.

Sometimes the best images happen when you forget to be nervous and simply let yourself enjoy creating them.

If a Christmas or Valentine’s bo***ir session has been living in the back of your mind…this is your sign to stop waiting. 🤍

We are officially booking into JANUARY 2027 already!

That means if you’re dreaming about giving someone (or yourself) photographs for Christmas, the window to plan your session is getting smaller.

And Valentine’s Day? Please don’t wait until February to start thinking about it.

Remember that your session date isn’t the same as the date your finished products are ready. We need time for your consultation, planning, the actual Empowerment Experience, editing, your reveal, and ordering any albums or artwork you want afterward.

And fall is already one of the busiest seasons for photographers.

So give yourself time.

No rushing.

No hoping an album magically arrives three days before you need it.

Just a thoughtfully planned experience and a gift they’ll probably remember considerably longer than another box of chocolates.

I had SO much fun creating this ballet-inspired bo***ir session.

There is something incredible about photographing ballet because everything I love about art comes together at once—movement, shape, line, strength, softness, light, and emotion.

Ballet looks so effortlessly graceful from the outside, but underneath that softness is an incredible amount of strength and control.

And combining that with bo***ir?

✨ Magic. ✨

Sessions like this are also such a good reminder that bo***ir doesn’t have to fit into one little box.

It can be sensual.

It can be playful.

It can be dramatic.

It can tell your story.

And it can absolutely become a piece of fine art.

This is the kind of creative collaboration that makes my artist brain VERY happy. 😂🎨📸

So please—bring me your hobbies. Bring me your weird ideas. Bring me the concept you’ve had saved on a Pinterest board for three years.

MEET THE TEAM 🤍 | Hi, I’m Riley.

The photographer, artist, professional hype-person, occasional furniture mover, and creative brain behind Higher RES Visuals. 😂📸

While bo***ir photography is a huge part of what I do, I’ve always considered myself an artist first.

Sometimes the medium is a camera.

Sometimes it’s paint, illustration, graphic design, or creating something completely unexpected for a session.

But the heart behind it is usually the same: I want to make people feel something.

With bo***ir especially, my favorite part isn’t simply creating a beautiful photograph.

It’s watching someone walk into the studio nervous, unsure of what to do, pointing out all of the things she thinks she needs to hide…

…and then watching the way she starts to carry herself differently when she realizes what I’ve been seeing through my camera all along.

Sensual.

Sacred.

Seen.

Worthy of taking up space.

Higher RES Visuals has grown into this beautiful collision of photography, art, storytelling, and women’s empowerment—and I’m incredibly grateful that I get to call creating it my job. 🤍

FAQ — How much do you use AI when editing?

I want to be really transparent about this, because I think you deserve to know who is actually creating and editing your images. 🤍

I do not use AI to cull through your session.

I do not use AI to change your body, reshape your face, or create a version of you that never existed.

And I do not upload your photographs into generative AI software to have it create or alter your final images.

I personally hand-select and hand-edit the photographs I deliver to you.

The only time AI-assisted tools may occasionally come into the process is for something small and technical—like helping remove a difficult distracting object, an unwanted background element, or something similar that doesn’t change you.

That distinction matters to me.

There are more and more AI-generated or heavily AI-altered images being presented as photography, and I never want you to wonder whether the person in your final gallery is actually you.

Your photographs should still carry your real features, your real body, your real expressions, and the story your body has lived through.

Technology can help me clean up an image.

It does not replace my eye, my hands, my artistic choices, or you.

Your images are still your images—just polished with intention and care. 🤍

FAQ: What if I have absolutely NO idea how to pose?

Perfect.

That means you’re just like almost every other person who walks into my studio. 😂🤍

You are not expected to arrive knowing what to do with your hands, where to look, how to position your body, or how to magically make yourself look natural in front of a camera.

That expectation belongs to me.

Throughout your entire Empowerment Experience, I’ll guide you through each pose step by step.

Where to place your hands.

How to position your legs.

Where to look.

When to breathe.

How to adjust your expression.

And all of those tiny movements that can completely change a photograph.

I’ll even demonstrate when needed, so you’re never standing there wondering, “Okay…what do I do now?”

You don’t need modeling experience.

You don’t need to practice poses beforehand.

And you definitely don’t need to be “photogenic.”

Your job is simply to show up.

My job is to take care of the rest. 🤍
