!!! COOKBOOK UPDATE !!!

In respect for the Remember in Abilene when page, I’m posting this information on my page, Big Country Imaging. With that being said. I hope that there is as much interest in the cookbook as there seems to be as I have ordered 200 books! They are being typeset as we speak and I am hoping to have them available by Thanksgiving, but definitely before Christmas.

After consulting with some other people that have books similar to the one I have, I discovered that later printings were actually different books with different recipes. Rather than try to combine all of the other books into one, I decided just to print the one I have and keep it simple (and inexpensive). If there is enough interest, we might do a Vol II with the other books.

The book has over 300 recipes and is spiral bound. Cost is $20 with ALL PROCEEDS going to the CarePack for Kids program supported by Love and Care Ministries. I have spoken with Terry Davis at Love and Care and while they are happy to accept a donation, they have neither the time nor the resources to take on another project, so it’s up to the people reading this to make it work. Originally, this was going to help AISD cover lunches for kids that need a little help, but AISD has informed me that all meals are covered by the Federal Govt this year because of Covid.

If you are interested in getting a book, I ask that you make a pledge at this time. This is so I can get a better feel for how many books I need. Money will be collected once the books are ready to ship to you (I’ll get your address at that time). To reserve a book or books, email me at [email protected] with your name, email address and how many books you would like. In the subject line, put “Cookbook”. If we surpass the 200 book mark, I will see about upping the order.
