Welllll I had lots of posts planned for this week(end) while I’ve been away, but I’ve been so busy relaxing & enjoying every second that I’ve barely been on my phone and this has been me instead 👆🏼

I’ve been up bright and early to edit for a bit before partaking in all the vacation things (beach, books & booze) 🌊📚🍹 it’s amazing how much editing I’m able to get done when I have the beach as motivation

Leaving for vacation bright & early tomorrow morning!

It will actually be so early that it won’t, in fact, be bright, but nevertheless, by this time tomorrow I will be soaking up some Florida sun 🌞

After the year we’ve had, I’m very much looking forward to spending a relaxing week on the beach before coming home to kick off my spring wedding season!

This week is National Infertility Awareness Week — a reality I never imagined would become such a defining part of my life.

Over the past 3+ years, we’ve faced “unexplained” infertility, treatments, loss, and now a long-awaited (and hard-fought) possible diagnosis.

I’m sharing a glimpse into our journey — not for sympathy, but to help make this often invisible struggle feel a little more seen, and to remind anyone walking this path that you’re not alone.

If you take anything from this, let it be this: infertility is more common than you think, but that doesn’t make it any less heavy to carry.

It’s messy, complicated, and ongoing.

If you’re going through this too, I see you. And if you’re not, I hope this gives a little insight into what so many silently carry.

Whether it’s a first look, a first touch around a corner, a private vow exchange where you can truly speak from the heart, or the exchanging of letters & gifts… there’s no right or wrong choice. You should simply do whatever feels most like you.

Your wedding day goes by so quickly, and carving out intentional time together beforehand can help ground you, calm your nerves, and make the entire experience even more meaningful 🥹
