I love the rewarding feeling I get from taking pictures. I literally am so giddy after every session, and if I can, I drive straight home and start uploading and editing – photography truly excites me! y clients best by also photographing children and families on my own so I can give the clients what they truly want! So I am working on re-building my portfolio since the studio I previously worked for owned all the images I took for the last 5 years! I really enjoy meeting new people and trying to capture everyone’s beauty. I like pictures that show who a person really is, whether that means a huge cheesy smile or a serious side. I’m not afraid to get up in your face, hang upside down, act a fool to make the kiddos laugh, or crawl around on the ground to get the perfect shot. I like a little posed (not overly posed!!!) , but also LOVE candid (seriously kids come up with the cutest things!) I have loads and loads of fun props (I am a bit of a prop ju**ie - I had to rent a storage shed to store them all)! I love coming up with unique portrait ideas. My sessions are relaxed and pressure free. Sometimes the little ones have a different opinion of taking pictures than Mom and I do, and I just roll with it let them be themselves and keep trying something different until I find something that works amazingly for each child’s personality. How far in advance should I book my session?..I do have a full time job, so it's always best to book your session about two to four weeks ahead of time. I allow myself to do 2-3 sessions a week depending on the month, so I will book quickly, especially weekends! Your best bet is if you know you want pictures in the future, by all means, shoot me an email and we'll get your session on the calendar! Weddings it is best to book 9 months to a year in advance to make sure your date is open! Where is your studio?..I do not have a studio (YET... comming soon!!!). For the time being I am an on-location photographer, meaning I travel to you or we meet somewhere to take pictures. I prefer to use natural light which means I love outdoor pictures! If you have a location in mind for your session, please suggest it, otherwise, I will give you a list of places depending on the look you're going for! What should I wear to my photo session? want you to wear something you are comfortable in! I love layers, bright colors, jewelry, scarves, coordinating (not matching) outfits, distressed jeans, dresses, you name it! I also have on hand lots and lots of tutus, feather dresses, lace rompers, headbands and hats for the girls, & bowties/ties and for the boys (have I mentioned I'm a bit of a prop ju**ie?)! What not to wear: all white, too tight clothing, too big and baggy clothing. I will have your images ready in 10 days or less! (excluding weddings & senior portriats) I will also have some sneek peeks up on the page even faster! :)
Wedding Portraits take about a month. You will recive a sneek peak webbased slideshow in less than a week of your wedding date to show friends and family. Senior Portraits take about 20 days.
